This privacy policy governs your use of the software application CTD - Connected Mobility (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by NeoGLS. The Application is providing services to the drivers in Bordeaux and the surroundings by giving them information about road-hazards, roadworks, traffic, speed advices and traffic light countdowns.
The Application does not require a Registration and does not use any of your personal data to identify you. Instead of any personal data, the Application will assign a random identifier per user. This identifier is visible in the Application settings and is the one and only information linked to the collected data.
This information may not be used to contact you and/or track you.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to compute relevant information and present it to you. Your location is shared with:
As location is mandatory for the Application to function correctly, there is no way to deactivate the location use. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should uninstall the Application.
In addition, the Application may collect log data in order to evaluate the quality of provided services. Evaluation log data is anonymous and contains location data and the content of alerts that are presented by the Application. The collection of Evaluation data can be disabled in the settings.
We will share your location information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement, and only in the purpose of evaluating the quality of services, and enhance them. Data will not be sold in any case. Moreover, any data going out of your mobile device is anonymous and not linked to any of your personal data.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Only the Evaluation data is aggregated and stored for evaluation purposes. We will retain Evaluation data for up to the duration of the evaluation process, which will end in Dec. 2021. After this date, any collected data will be deleted.
Other location data are not stored, only used in real-time.
As collected data is not linked to any of your personal data, we can delete them only if you are able to provide the unique identifier you were assigned by the Application. Note that if you uninstall the application, this identifier is lost and your data cannot be deleted afterwards.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Moreover, collected data is always shared in an encrypted way between parties, in order to prevent interception. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy via a disclosure on application startup. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy on any change, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
